Many years ago, when I was a 15-year-old teenager, I went to the movies with my close cousin and his friends from the countryside. It was late 1987 and we went to a movie theater and saw a thriller together at 21:00, so the movie was over around 23:00. It was dark outside when we came out of the cinema and at the exit there was a group of boys hanging around. When we walked past them, it seems to have dawned on them that it was just us coming out of the cinema and no one else. They started chasing us and started yelling at us. They said they were the Fella gang and that we were not allowed to go away. What happened next was that they took me to a parking lot and started asking me all kinds of questions. Then the leader starts punching me and then again. I had a knife on me and was thinking about using it but there were 4 of them together. I decided instead to use the oldest trick in the book and fled in the other direction, running so fast that those chasing me both gave up after 200 meters. I was sorry to know that dear cousin was not so lucky, for he was beaten and punched badly by a group of boys. However, they avoided damaging his glasses. The assholes. I still want to find them and get revenge. An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
