My He-man cartoons

Back in the year 1983, we lived in Potomac county, in Maryland state, USA. I went to a school called Bells Mills Elementary School and was in the fifth grade, under Mrs. Green our teacher. She was a firm teacher, with a snappy army type bark, probably around 40 years of age, with short blonde hair. School was ok, often dull and nothing much going on. I was a foreign kid, and really only had one good friend you lived far away called Kevin, who was from Argentina. In the spring of 1983 they started showing the new He-man cartoons on TV, but they started at 15:15 every afternoon. The problem was that school was over at 15:00 every day, so I only had 15 minutes to get home. I took the school bus in the mornings because it was a bit far from home. Because I wanted to get home in time for the He-man cartoon, I found a way through the neighborhood and the forest, over a highway and back into my home within the Maryland forest. I found the fastest way to get home and for months I ran this path at lightning speed to be home in time for He-man. Those cartoons were fun and cool.
