OVERCOMING OVERTHINKING

 

The link between fear and overthinking is solid and revolving. Took me a long time to journal myself through admittance and acceptance of fear, recognizing the overthinking, the attempts for control, subconscious defenses, the waiting, the reacting under perceived control, the management of the ego, ruminating about perceived opinions of others, and the rest of it. What worked for me was to focus on myself, on the object of my own will, the pursuit of my dreams and ignoring anything else. Being in the moment of today and today alone. Being present and kind with the ones I love.
