Nature is a novel builder of things, things that have a function, a function that sustains lifeforms, lifeforms that have a common shape, a shape where one half mirrors the other, the mirror of limbs and features, features that create a harmony, a harmony with a sense of beauty, a beauty viewed through the lens of symmetry, the same symmetry that we use in our buildings, buildings where one half mirrors the other, buildings of the ancient world, Gothic buildings, Baroque building, Rococo building, Art Deco buildings, buildings that please the eye, the eye that knows the beauty of symmetry, the beauty of harmony, the harmony with nature, the nature within us, and that is why symmetry feels right to us.
