Leaders instruct young men to fight and die
without sufficient reasons given as to why,
they should walk into bullets in their prime
if the reason is money, their death is a crime
men should resist dying without a just cause
resist being blown to bits for public applause,
send the leaders in first who promote the war
let them face death and then wonder what for
they want to end so many young men’s lives
to deny them a future with children and wives
each war will end with a pact and a handshake
