Lately I have felt an old emotion awake
it is sweeping away the my dark intake
of chronically contemplated expectations
in all of their dreadful bloated variations
I feel events and possibilities open for me
a spirit may be helping me a hope to see
cause if you expect the best at every turn
you can obtain that what you really yearn.
