Your life is about the stories you tell
in your stories, your mind does dwell
stories affect you, and what you say
stories affect, how you live your day
your self-confidence exists, with a tale
when you tell yourself, you will prevail
so don’t feed yourself, a story of doom
it will make your life, a constant gloom
we converse with others, by telling news
of ourselves or others, with stating clues
of events gone by and things yet to pass
talk of graceful people, and heroes badass
we tell stories of gods, and creation of earth
describe their epic tales, admire their mirth
many stories of ghosts, most of us entertain
by gestures and faces, make them alive again
to any who will listen, we tell our stories to
using every medium, we can tell it through
it’s in marketing, and it’s around you today
and in our world, the stories will always stay.
