Funny how we want time to either rewind, to unmake a mistake we made, or to fast forward to a beneficial outcome, skipping over the arduous labor of getting there.
We want time to help us avoid the uncomfortable, and the feeling of emotional pain that goes along with the uncomfortable.
This “uncomfort” simply being us having to look in the soul’s mirror, and stare at the fallible human being that we are, or the lazy slacker in all of us, and not the perfect image of our cultivated persona.
