A boy grows up and dreams
dreams of future adventures
dreams of fame and fortune
dreams of a wife and family
dreams of status and respect
dreams of a good reputation
dreams of a strong evidence,
that his own existence creates
an imprint on his fellow man
an imprint on his profession
an imprint on ideas formed
an imprint on world events
an imprint to better society
an imprint in history books,
but then life teaches him reality
he realizes he will some impact
he realizes he will peak in looks
he realizes his success will peak
he realizes marriage takes work
he realizes family matters most
he realizes that it will all be fine.
