PLAYING
When I play an instrument today
I am not doing it for other people
but for myself and for the flow,
it is my gateway into the flow state
I merely have to close my eyes
and create vibrations with a finger,
and there I am immersed fully
in a melody of moody sounds
travelling within the oversoul,
totally free in spirit and mind
the shackles of duty disappear
a timeless existence awarded,
I feel light and lively in tempo
I feel no age or burden of body
I feel as if I truly belong there.
