REVELATIONS
On some pages in some books
there are passages that move
something within you forever,
I am not talking about emotions,
more of a personal aha moment
which alter your understanding,
the books are subjective of course,
for we all differ in many ways,
and react differently to books,
but these books open our eyes
as if the books themselves live,
and breathe, and wait for us,
to seek them out and uncover
meaning and truth so obvious
yet not realized by most people,
for such well thoughts described,
uncovered and realized by words,
are a revelation of understanding,
the alchemy of the written word,
opening the Pandoras Box of truth,
often does leave you with a smirk.
