As a hunter I do feel the need to make
an animal’s meat, into a tasteful steak
must cook it well, but really carefully so
that the beasts wild flavor does not go.
It must be medium rare, never well done
for you contain the wildness, which is fun
if red in the middle, you’ve done the feat
the juices balanced out, it’s ready to eat.
